42 ft Cruising Sloop Rigs

The jib on the 42 ft cruising sloop is permanently boom-rigged making the jib self-tending. The jib is 'jiffy' reefed in the same manner as the mainsail. Also, there is a block on top of the mast to hoist a spinnaker and a track on the front of the mast for the spinnaker pole. The spinnaker itself is not part of the suit of sails as there is adequate sail area up front between the drifter and the standard jib which two sails can be used in combo.
